  3. Something to consider
    Something to consider
This family had a few small kids and needed a kitchen. I took the old cabinets and sink and made them a temporary kitchen until I was finished.
  4. Extra seating for the whole family

  6. A small prep sink next to a built in butcher block cutting board. The rest of the counters are Corian on top of Home Depot cabinets.

  8. Kitchen addition off the back
    Kitchen addition off the back
I do not have a before picture. On the back was a tiny scab with one of the smallest kitchens I've seen. A good candidate for an addition.
  9. Poured new steps into the basement with a gutter at the bottom to stop water intrusion. Did I mention Seattle?
  10. Anthony Kitchen Addition

Matching the old Seattle exterior was important in this addition. It can be a challenge when under a tight budget and certain materials are hard to get.
  11. Front walkway

This picture was taken several months after the walkway was finished. It weathered in nicely.

Concrete forms with rebar are leveled and ready to pour. In the background you can see the installed Cherry wainscoting.
  3. Penny Basement Bar
    Penny Basement Bar
All made on site starting with raw Cherry slabs, I had to make the trim and concrete counter tops. A unique project.
  4. There are many different concrete counter top colors and finishes. They can be raw gray, glass smooth, aggregate showing or pitted and stained.
  5. The upper soffit had to be completely ventilated for the hidden furnace cold air return.

  2. French Style Fireplace
    French Style Fireplace
A classy fireplace wrap that may not be to everyones taste, but this project shows that if you can think it, I can help design and build it.
  3. Finished
    Finished
Along with the fireplace I built custom windows and a few wall columns. Add some paint and everyone was happy.
  4. Old wiring and water damage, not a good combination.
  5. Sometimes these type of projects start with chimney and window water damage.

    Various Outdoor Projects
These are just a few exterior projects that I took pictures of that had some interest.
  5. Goal for this deck was to not see any fasteners.
  1. Self employed framing during the housing "boom"
Self employed framing during the housing "boom"
We would show up on the job site to earthquake straps poking out of a freshly poured foundation and a giant stack of lumber. Up goes a house.
  2. If you seen one you've seen them all

I prefer working directly with the customer on personalized projects. Additions and remodels take lots of skill to do right.
  3. Get to work
    Get to work
The day we were done and inspected the roofers and siding guys were already going. Unfortunately quality was not the goal in these homes.
  4. Hey, that's my red truck!

This picture was taken September 1999 right before I started working for myself.
  5. On this project I dealt closely with inspectors

I had to fix what was uncompleted or done wrong by various trades. Everything from door installs to re-framing whole sections.
  6. Houses for the Masses
    Houses for the Masses
When you work on a large home development you learn the importance of efficiency, planning and proper build order.
